Approved!!

So, I guess the Greencard lady believed us in the end...we just got notice that Myke has been approved and will get his Greencard in 3 weeks! This means good things all around. Myke can go to Canada with me in June! As you can tell, I'm super excited about this.

Oh and to celebrate I made cupcakes!

It only takes one person...

I don't understand W4/W2 & T4 slips. I just don't get it. I end up filling them out incorrectly and getting either too much deducted from my paycheck or not enough. I wish they had someone on sight at work counseling people on how they should fill it out.

This weekend will be spent taking it easy and possibly making the trek to Los Angeles.

I am also starting to plan a Myke/Dara trip. I think we are going to head to San Fran. Hopefully, it won't be too expensive.

Myke informed me that we only have 7 more laundry runs until we move into our new place (we move in May 20th). I can't wait! I also am excited to be away from the crazy car alarms. These people purposely let it ring all night long. Bastards!

This is what I think about that!

I will not let "you" bother me. I am better than that! I can make it anywhere (and so can you L Nose).

I heart Toronto

I don't like to celebrate Valentines Day. I do, however, like to celebrate my love for people (especially my guy) every day. I think it's important to show people you love them all the time. My family and friends know that I care for them and that is all that matters.

Schmaty has been super snuggly lately (see picture above). It's really quite adorable actually. I'm excited for Myke's parents to meet her in a couple of weeks.

I've just created a facebook account. It's fun talking to old friends and distant family.

Oh and I love Toronto!

Auntie Night!

Tonight Myke and I are babysitting the Hampton kids. They are probably the easiest kids to babysit. They listen and play nicely together (for the most part...hey, they're kids!). We are actually watching Hannah Montana right now. It's a cute show for kids. I just found out though that Fred Savage directs that show. Unbelievable!

No more work weekends! Over! Done! Fini!

Tomorrow I will spend my day doing "girly" things. I will get a pedicure with a friend and then head to the mall. When did I get so "girly"?

Random thought: I think that dogs are smarter than cats. So there!

Myke and I have found a new apartment! It'a beautiful and brand new. It has granite kitchen counters and hardwood flooring. We can't wait to move in May! I just wish that we were moving sooner.

Sick mama!

I haven't been feeling that great at all. My ears and throat have been hurting and I'm super tired. I assume that I'm getting sick cause I've been "go, go, go" since November. It's also horrible timing since I have to work this Sunday and next Saturday. Oh well. There is nothing I can do at this point. Let's just hope that my voice doesn't leave me :)

Myke and I have been playing around with the idea of moving to another apartment in May. For some reason this apartment complex thinks it's ok to bump up the rent by 125%. If I'm going to pay that kind of money for a place, I might as well have a washer/dryer in the unit. That said, we are going to look around and see if we can find something reasonable and nice. We are limited to where we rent because we only have one car, but hopefully that won't hinder us too much.

*I like saying "hopefully." It's a fun word!
