Approved!!












So, I guess the Greencard lady believed us in the end...we just got notice that Myke has been approved and will get his Greencard in 3 weeks! This means good things all around. Myke can go to Canada with me in June! As you can tell, I'm super excited about this.

Oh and to celebrate I made cupcakes!

    I phoned Aunt Rosie in Florida; I phoned Aunt Shira, Uncle David, and Aunt Ruth in Toronto and Thornhill. The rest of the family will get E-mails.
    We're as excited, ecstatic, happy, thrilled, on cloud 9 as you and Myke are!

    PS Dara's Mom is coming to Toronto on Saturday, and will return home on Tuesday. She's going to stay at Uncle David's. Summer and Ciera and Jada will love that.

    You made cupcakes? By "you" do you mean me? And by "me", do you mean the guy who mixed the ingredients, doled out the portions in the little paper cupcake skirts, popped it in, and then took it out of the oven- that "me"?

    Anyway, go us for getting the greencard. A little sidenote: we actually have the greencard (the approval), just not the physical card to prove it. But as far as the American Government is concerned, I am a permanent resident. Conditionally.

    I put the icing and sprinkles on the cupcakes...that counts for something, right?

    I wish I could come to TO this weekend :( I'm sure my mom will have lots of fun though.

    Conditional or not, it's a Greencard!

    You know me...I like to keep folk on their toes...Passionate and Dramatic! Yes...engaged and married in the name of God. Dudette, it is hard 4 me to believe but...that's that! Signed, sealed delivered...I am officially off the market for the rest of my life...that is something I never thought I would say but secretly wanted to.
