Too much Jesus talk

Why do people just assume that everyone is Christian? Is it our society's fault? We decorate all the malls, hotels, etc... in Christmas attire (minus the token Jewish star or mennorah) when we know that not everyone celebrates it. Some would argue that the US was based on Christian values and that we should respect that and celebrate the American "culture" (I put that in quotations cause I'm not really sure what culture we have). Others, like myself, just assume that someone is a Christian if they say they have no religion or don't say anything at all. It's America's default religion.
My point is, society (me included) needs to stop and realize that not everyone is Christian (or the same for that matter) and that we need to start opening our eyes and celebrating the different cultures that make up America.
So there!

Oh, and I'm way too tired right now.

It's a small world...

I am in Charlotte and the weather is cool. I'm glad I brought a coat.
There are lots of stuff in walking distance so I think I'll be ok with staying here for 3 weeks. Plus, I have my friends coming to fill up my weekends.

I miss my Schmaty and Mykie!

Have a good trip back, Catlin.

Chomp away!

Catlin is in town! We've taken him to some cool restaurants around our area and now he thinks this place is alright.
Today is Thanksgiving and so that means lots of yummy foods.
I can't believe how time flies by so quickly (not really but I just like that expression). I've been in the States for a year now. Craziness.
I also leave for Charlotte this Saturday morning. I'm so not looking forward to it.

I love sushi!

Me and my Schmaty

Here are some cute pics of Schmaty (not so cute pics of me).

Myke's brother is coming in town this evening. We are cleaning up our place so it looks NICE (said in a Borat accent).

It is super hot in Southern California right now. It's about 80 degrees. I'm rooting for cooler temperatures though. I kinda miss the snow :(

Got hit again!

It seems I have a cold/allergies right now. I think I've sneezed 200 times today. I hope it goes away as these next couple of weeks will be super busy.

Tonight means dinner at a Ruth's Chris with Myke. I don't get the name of the restaurant, but apparently it's yummy.

Why don't I have favorite movies?
I must ponder this while I nibble away on my snack.

If you give a little, they take a lot

I found out this week that I will be going on an upcoming business trip for 3 weeks to Charlotte. 3 weeks is a long time! I'm both excited and stressed to go on this trip. Hopefully, it'll all work out for the best (at least that's what my mom says).

I worked today (yes, on a Saturday!), but it wasn't too bad. I'm taking it easy this afternoon, as Myke and I will be going out with friends this evening. Tomorrow we are going bowling with some of my work friends. Looking forward to it...

Side note: Schmaty was super snuggly this morning. She's a cute one!

"Ok, Grrreat"

I love Borat! He is pure fun!
Myke and I will definitely be purchasing the dvd once it comes out (which probably will be a year from now).

I had lots of fun at the House of Blues last night. I actually made it past 2AM. This is amazing considering my bedtime is usually at 9:30PM.

We were going to go to Universal Studios today, but we decided to take it easy and have a lazy day. I'm glad we did cause I was truly exhausted.

I might have to work this Saturday :(

Schmaty is a funny cat.

Boo...hoo hoo!

Another Halloween has come and gone...
We went trick or treatin' with the Cherie and Larry's kids. They were adorable!
I wish Halloween fell on a weekend though...maybe next year? Or the next year?

We got the cat back from the vet today. She's super clean and smells great. She's really cute!!
I'll post more pics when I get a chance.

We get free lunches at work tomorrow (Thank you, Carls Jr.). I'm game for anything free!

Borat's movie comes out this Friday!! Hell Yeah!
