The jobiest of all jobs :)

So, I LOVE my new job!! I have my own office!! I've never had my own office. I also have access to admin (I share with one or two other people). Isn't that awesome too?? I've never had support like that before!! Also, a big part of my job is travelling and talking to people. Those are the two things I love most in this world! I really think I'm going to like working for this company. They are very nice and appreciate their employees constantly (for example: They had a smoothie day the other day where over 600 people got free smoothies...I love smoothies!).

I'm definitely on the right path now...No more stupid LT!

So I creep...

I'm happy to start my new job tomorrow! Though I have to wake up super early (probably around 5 am), I'm happy to go into work. I honestly can't believe I've been out of work for 2 months! That's so crazy to me. At least I was getting paid during that time period.
My last weekend as an unemployed person went well. On Friday night, I went out on a date with Myke (a la dinner and a movie). Saturday meant fun times with Laird (i.e. breakfast, pedicure and then dinner). And today was meant for errands and taking it easy. All in all it was a great weekend!

Oh, one more thing...I saw "Jesus Camp" today. It's a documentary on Evangelical Christian children that go to a "Jesus camp." I felt a lot of emotions while watching this film. Passion brings out many emotions (both bad and good). I had a very different upbringing from these kids and it's hard for me to relate. And that's all I'll say ;)

Oh, Mr. Bubbles

Michael Buble (accent on the "e") played an awesome show last night! He was witty, charming and fun...what a great performer! And we also had the pleasure of listening to Jann Arden (a surprise opener). She's great too! I will also add that they are both Canadian. Yeah Canadians!!
The only thing that sucked about the evening was the parking. I will just say, I hate stacked parking!

Michael could sing anything and I'd love it ;)

Pee me a river...

Did you know that pee is between 98.6 and 100 degrees (though I assume some pee can get hotter than that)?? Isn't that crazy? My pee is the same temperature as outside!! Wowsers!
Anyways, today meant peeing in a cup for my new employer. They should be receiving the lab results in 2 days and if all goes well (who am I kidding...all will go well) I start on Monday.
I am still on the hunt for some kick ass work shirts though. Hopefully, I'll find some soon :)

I got a job!!!

I got a job today!!! I'm so excited!!! I'll be an HR Specialist for Fluor Corporation. I start on August 27th. Hell yeah!!!

Dinosaurs, pirates and strange looking things!

We took our nieces/nephew to the Santa Ana Discovery Science Center yesterday (please note: it's not as good as the Ontario Science Center). We were very disappointed, but we followed it up with some oh-so-healthy McDonalds and a dip in the pool. As always, here are some pics:
