"Jewing it up!"

To all my Jews...
L'Shana Tova!!!

According to the Hebrew calendar, Rosh Hashanah commemorates the creation of the world as narrated in the Bible. According to Dara's stomach, Rosh Hashanah is the celebration of food (specifically apples and honey!). PEACE!

ENTJ

I recently took the Myers-Briggs test for work.  It's uncanny how many things they were correct.  Just in case some of you have never seen this test before, it put you in 4 groups: Extraversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling, and Judging/Perceiving.
I am an extroverted, intuitive, thinker and judger (ENTJ).
See my description below:

-Frank, decisive, assume leadership readily

-Quickly see illogical and inefficient procedures and policies, develop and implement comprehensive systems to solve organizational problems

-Enjoy long-term planning and goal setting
-Usually well informed, well read, enjoy expanding their knowledge and passing it on to others

-Forceful in presenting their ideas

-Others usually see me as direct, challenging, decisive, objective, fair and stimulating

-Their verbal fluency, decisiveness, self-confidence, and urge to organize others can overpower people at times

-May make decisions too quickly without considering alternatives or exploring possibilities

-They are generally disinterested in routine maintenance activities, preferring the stimulation of new challenges

-They can be though when the situation calls for toughness

-They love and are energized by stimulating interactions with people

"There's the worst pain and then there is worse"

Bitch Moment 2008:  Sometimes I feel like I live in the 1950s.  I'm really not sure why I live in such a conservative place when I'm such a liberal girl.  I just don't see eye to eye with the majority of people who live here.  I'm not saying I dislike everyone here, but I just don't share the same values.  It's sad actually :(  I so desperately want to be in a place where people value change and differences.
Here's to hoping for more...

Side note: Commercials make me laugh.  They assume the viewer is mentally slow.  Funny!

Georgia on mind (at least for this week)

Myke and I visited our family this past week in GA.  While we were there we attended a SEFTY reunion, a small art festival, dinners in Midtown and the Virginia Highlands, and visited countless malls.  Below are some highlights:
