Hula Skirt...check!

Today is the day I leave for Hawaii. Though the flight is long (try 10 hours), I'll be in good spirits. My mom and I have coupons for free stuff on Delta so that's pretty exciting.
I'm a little concerned on how we are going to carry everything (we have about 2 bags each, plus a carry on, purse and wedding dress). I'm sure it will work out though.

Apparently, Hawaii is suppose to be super wet while we are there. It might even rain on my wedding. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about the weather and so I'll have to take what I get. Let's just hope for a couple hours of sunshine.

Goodbye, Georgia!
Hello, Hawaii and then...California, here I come!

Work...no more!

My last day of work was yesterday. I left with good feelings and a couple of cool friends. Amy even gave me a present (it was a wedding/going away/new apartment present). Afterwards, we all went to this placed called "Joey D's". The food sucked but the company was good.
Once I got home, Aaron and I decided to head out to get a snack and watch a movie. We saw "Benchwarmers" which was actually somewhat funny
(very surprising, I know).

I'd love to report that my stresses are getting better, but unfortunately they continue. I'm hoping that at least a couple issues go away once I move to California.

I go to Hawaii on Sunday. How crazy is that?

"You done good, kid"

Last night, my family and I were blessed by our rabbi. I haven't been a big fan of the rabbi for years so I was a bit apprehensive to do this. It turned out ok though. He said some nice things about myself and our family. I'm still not a big fan of organized religion, but I can see why people enjoy it. Going to church/temple supplies a sense of community to its congregates. They feel like they are part of a team and aren't so alone in the world. Of course, this isn't the only way to feel a sense of community. People can join clubs, start families, etc.. to feel that same sense of community.

Enough about that...
This weekend is my last full weekend in Georgia. Next weekend I leave for Hawaii!!
I'd like to say this time had gone by quickly but that's so not the case.

A lot happens when you are sleeping

I've been busy training my replacement at work. Funny enough, she is a lot like me. Her husband lives in the UK right now and they have been going through the Greencard process for 3 years now (craziness!). I just hope that my Greencard journey with Myke will take a shorter amount of time.

In other news, the guy that is marrying us is a total hippy. I honestly believes he prays to trees and flowers. What a whack job!
After looking at his marriage script, Myke and I have decided to create our own. Thank God Myke is a writer!

My night turned out to be a real downer. Oh well...there is always tomorrow!
