Boo...hoo hoo!
Another Halloween has come and gone...
We went trick or treatin' with the Cherie and Larry's kids. They were adorable!
I wish Halloween fell on a weekend though...maybe next year? Or the next year?
We got the cat back from the vet today. She's super clean and smells great. She's really cute!!
I'll post more pics when I get a chance.
We get free lunches at work tomorrow (Thank you, Carls Jr.). I'm game for anything free!
Borat's movie comes out this Friday!! Hell Yeah!

The other day I watched a program which was televised from Sick Kids' Hospital, featuring patients and staff, all in costume for a Hallowe'en contest. The staff members, who were done up professionally, were absolutely amazing. The host was a Scarecrow. And, of course, the winners were announced. One little girl, only 6 years old, who has been a patient since March, was interviewed. She looked adorable, with her lovely blonde hair, wearing a sparkling tiara, and a pirate blindfold over one eye. This youngster had been diagnosed with a brain tumour, luckily benign, and would still spend more time in the hospital.
During the course of the newscast, it was pointed out that Hallowe'en was second only to Xmas in terms of sales, and was expected to surpass Xmas sales in the very near future.
Sadly, at the office yesterday, some of the staff said that the number of trick or treaters at their homes were down significantly. However, as I pointed out----some neighbourhoods are againg, so less children. And I read that many children are now attending parties, etc. in the Malls, where there are bright lights, and parents feel their kids are safer.
Keep on Trick and Treating.
Love
Nana and Papa

I am not against Halloween being the most popular holiday. I do love Halloween!
