Chiiiiiild!

My brother and Dan came and gone. Up next: Sadie is coming to visit!

I've been working like a mad cow (huh?)!! I also found out I'll be training the whole month of January. I'm going to be exhausted!

I'm having fun learning new Southern terms in Charlotte. People say "Chiiiiild" and "Basically" after every word. It's very entertaining!

Only one more week to go!!!

What are you in training for? Is it some sport, like boxing, bicycle racing, beach volleyball, pole dancing? And where is the training going to be for the month of January-------in Irvine?
Wherever you go, check on the weather first, and bring the appropriate clothing. Did you know that there were 50 cm. of snow in London, Ontario? (That's 7 inches). The city was shut down; all schools were closed; the University of Western Ontario cancelled exams; the snow plows are now digging them out. And Jordana's exam was affected.
We had Shabbat dinner last evening at the David Hart house. It's always a treat to be with them. At one point, Jada took me by the hand, and we had to sit at the piano and play Chanuka songs together. She's so cute-----you have to open up her sisters' music books, before we can play. She watched me do some scales, and said Teach Me. I love it.
Good luck on your final week in Charlotte.

Hey Dara! I haven't read your blog in about a month so I'm really out of date. Naomi told me you're in NC for some work thing... I hope everything is well. I had my evaluation a week ago and it went really well so now I'm just counting down until the holidays when I can breathe a little more freely!
Miss you, promise to write a proper email soon,
    Rosalie.
PS Noah and I completely agree about your view of Christianity. Noah's joining my family for Christmas in Ottawa and he feels a little awkward, a little excited... But it's definitely not to be imposed on anyone!
